A member of St John’s County Parks & Recreation Department rescued a container of kittens which had been dumped in the heavy rain at the side of a road in Hastings today. The kittens are now in our care and will be thoroughly checked over by a vet. If you’d like to help us rescue and re-home local animals please visit http://wwpetrescue.org/ — we would love to hear from you.
A massive thank you to St John’s County Parks & Recreation Department for saving the lives these kittens, the weather today is terrible — two inches or more of rain already today, things wouldn’t have turned out well if it wasn’t for you.
Edit: A previous version of this article mentioned “St John’s County Road and Bridge department”, it was actually “St John’s County Parks and Recreation department”, and mentioned “SR312”.
